I like problems where the business rules are harder than the code.

I build software for a living and for the fun of it. Four years in, most of that time has gone on enterprise systems where the rules are dense, the data matters, and someone downstream depends on getting it right.

What keeps me interested is the shape of a system rather than the syntax. How a domain gets modelled, where a boundary belongs, which decision will still make sense to whoever opens the file two years from now. I care about that more than I care about any particular framework.

I work backend first and finish the job on the front end, because handing over an API and calling it done has never felt like finishing.

0 years of building software that has to work on a Monday morning, and the next system is always the bigger one.

I studied how things work. I stayed for the part where you get to build them.

    Software Engineer (.NET)

    Business Analytics (Pvt.) Ltd.A subsidiary of Digital Processing Systems, Kuwait

    I work across an insurance platform used by a Kuwaiti insurer, from the APIs underneath it to the components people actually click on.

    The platform

    Backend modules and REST APIs in .NET Core 9 for a B2B insurance product serving Warba Insurance and Reinsurance.

    A shared component library

    Reusable Blazor Server components built on Radzen, which gave the whole product one set of UI patterns instead of five.

    Documents that survive an audit

    A PDF pipeline with custom template rendering, producing compliant certificates and policy documents.

    Keeping the codebase honest

    Code reviews alongside the team lead, holding to SOLID and Clean Architecture boundaries.

    Junior Software Engineer (.NET)

    My first fifteen months, spent on government and SaaS products delivered into Kuwait. This is where I learned what enterprise scale actually asks of you.

    Government case management

    Backend modules and REST APIs in .NET Core for FATWA, a large case-handling portal for the Kuwait Government.

    Two SaaS products

    Core features of a document management system, and an end-to-end e-library with in-browser reading.

    Services that stopped waiting

    RabbitMQ queues for asynchronous cross-service communication, which took a whole class of failure off the table.

    Working across a time zone

    Coordinating deliverables with the offshore Kuwait team, and writing the documentation that went with them.
